Head to London’s Machine-A shop/gallery if you are looking for big name fashion designers such as Louise Gray and Raf Simons, nestled on the rails next to up and coming graduate talent. It is reassuring to see a central London shop that is supporting young, creative designers by taking a risk on stocking them and showcasing them in exhibitions.
Address: MACHINE-A, 60 Berwick Street, London, W1F 8SU

Here are a few photos from my recent visit to the chocolate fantasy world of Choccywoccydoodah in Soho. It is hard to believe that these sculptural works of art are actually made from chocolate and cake. Definitely worth a visit, just to see the theatrical window displays and visit their upstairs cafe for a slice of their famous cake. My full review will be published in April.http://www.choccywoccydoodah.com/

I have just finished an article on the fabulous Angels Costumiers centre, for Modern Weekly magazine. The London based warehouse has over 8 miles of historical costumes which have featured in many Oscar winning films over the decades. The creative manager Jeremy Angel took me on a two hour tour of the premises, with highlights including the outfits worn in the recent Oscar winning film Anna Karenina. Angels runs tours for the public a few times a month for £25 per person. Highly recommended for anyone with an interest in fashion and films:http://www.angels.uk.com/
