I’ve just returned from Xander Zhou’s SS14 show for London Collections: Men. A strong collection with sharp tailoring, lots of latex and graphic prints that seemed to have been lifted straight from the computer screen. If this collection is anything to go by, shorts are going to be micro-mini for next summer – only for the brave!

While at London Collections: Men yesterday, I came across the new SS14 collection from Marwood. This British company makes ties, braces, scarves, socks and bow ties and is stocked at Mr Porter and Liberty. I particularly like the lace ties – a nice look for the sunny season. Here are some more images from my trip to Kiton HQ, the Italian tailoring house famed for making the world’s most expensive suits. At their workshop in Arzano, a suburb of Naples, 350 tailors are busy crafting suits that will eventually retail for between 5,000- 25,000 Euros. At one end of the building rolls of luxurious fabrics are arriving, while at the other end the finished suits are being sent out across the world, to customers who will happily pay this premium price tag.
