On a recent trip through Kentucky, I fell for its nostalgic small towns, unique attractions, hip eateries and old-time music scene. Travelling from Louisville up into Northern Kentucky, then onto Georgetown and Lexington, we encountered a quirky and authentic side of America that you’ll only discover if you venture away from the major cities and head off the beaten track in The Bluegrass State. Our final destination was Owensboro, in time for the official opening of the new Bluegrass Museum and Hall of Fame, which is a must for music fans.
