We’ve just returned from Moomin World in Finland, which is probably the most brilliantly bonkers place we’ve visited as a family so far! It’s an entire island off the coast of Turku, which is dedicated to Tove Jansson’s Moomin characters. Instead of hectic theme park rides, it’s all about imaginative play and nature. There’s a barefoot nature trail, a really peaceful kid’s beach, loads of Moomin characters to hug and interact with, play houses in the forest to explore and lots of singing and theatre shows. It was completely charming and we all fell in love with it! For further info see https://www.moominworld.fi/
